Hello all, Does anyone know anything about the OYLERs buried in Cedar Grove Cem. in Chambersburg?? In peticular a Philip OYLER b. 1787, d. 1850 and his wife Mary b. 1792, d. 1861. I have OYLERs in Fulton County and I'm trying to see if they could "possibly" be the parents. I have looked the OYLERs of Franklin Co. up in the 1850 census and found them. It says they were all born in Pa. But my OYLER was b. in 1811 in Germany. I know sometimes the census is wrong.............. Mine came in 1821 to Baltimore when he was 10 yrs old. So he would have come with his parents but there are no ship records for that year to Baltimore so.................. Any help is greatly appreciated! Sharon Frank sharon@kua.net
