    1. [PAFRANKL] MAYBERRY, Israel Look-up in Early 1800's thru 1840 Franklin County, Pa
    2. Frank Mayberry
    3. Subject above was my gggrandpa born in Maryland @ 1835. He was the son of George & Rebecca PENNYBACKER MAYBERRY, dau of Dirck Pennybacker & Hanna De Haven of Pennsylvania. Both MAYBERRY and PENNYBACKER families were involved in the Iron Refining business. I suspect that Israel was involved with the Richmond Furnace and possibly the Pine Grove Furnace in Franklin County, Pa. George Mayberry was in Partnership with Benjamin Pennybacker brother of George's wife Rebecca. The Company name was "The George Mayberry & Company" AKA "The Irish Gentleman" George also had a brother named William, and may have been a relative of the earlier Thomas MAYBERRY AKA "The Iron Master" who was known to be a contractor to the Quartermaster of the Army in furnishing Sheet Iron or Steel Plating to the Army Stores and operated Furnaces near Hereford and Pine Grove Forges. I would like to have copies of any local History or family history of any of the above named family. Also, any reference to that information on file at any Historical Society or Library Books on file at local libraries. I am trying to obtain a reference to the facts and where they are on file for future verification. I am also, contemplating a trip to that area and would like to know where to find information. What city and name of Library etc. I would appreciate any information that I can assemble. Thanks, Frank Mayberry ggggrandson of George Mayberry & Rebecca Pennybacker Mayberry. I live in Muskogee, Oklahoma and a member of the First Families of the Twin Territories of Oklahoma # 2544
