Was there a paper in Chambersburg in 1847-1850? Is there someone who can do lookups for Franklin Co. papers of this period? Are the papers indexed anywhere? I am looking for a marriage between a Heffelfinger groom and a Stouffer bride. Or perhaps a death or a move or some reason why William J. Heffelfinger, age 2, was living with Catherine Stouffer, age 70, in 1850, and living with Christian Stouffer, age 40, in 1860. And some clue as to who his parents were.
