A family reunion is being planned for July, 2000 in Waynesboro, PA for the Descendants of Mathias GIFT who settled in the Waynesboro/Grindstone Hill area. We would like to contact descendants of Margaret (Peggy ) GIFT, b. about 1796 d/o George Gift and Catherine - and Frederick GEORGE, b. 18 Nov 1791, d. 18 June 1845 and they were married about 1818. We would also like to contact the descendants of Edward Benjamin GEORGE, b. 11 Feb 1850, s/o Jeremiah W. GEORGE and Margaret GIFT, who married Sarah Spielman. Edward died about 1930 and Sarah died in 1927. Their children were Luther S. GEORGE, b. 1877 and Mamie A. GEORGE, b. 1882.
