I am searching for information on the families of Jacob and Rebecca Lemons Martin. This Martin family is in the Franklin County 1850 census living in St. Thomas Township. Jacob was born about 1808 and states he is from Maryland and lists his occupation as wagonmaker. Rebecca was born about 1811 and is from Pennsylvania. Their children are listed as Amanda, Samuel, Ephraim, Rebecca, James, Daniel, and twins Charlotte and Henry. After the birth of the twins, the Martins moved to Henry County, Indiana, and are found in the 1860 Census in Prairie Township living in Hillsboro. Ann, John and Lloyd have been added to the family, but daughter Rebecca is missing. The death certificate of Lloyd Martin states that his mother was Rebecca Lemons of Pennsylvania. Jacob and Rebecca are my third great grandparents. I will be glad to share all information I have on this family. Thanks, Jane
