Hello to all, I'm searching for the grave of my gggggrandfather, Joseph Armstrong, of Franklin County, PA. (1711-1761). His wife was Jennet Stewart, and they had five sons and two daughters; John, Thomas, Joseph, James, William, Catherine and Margaret. Joseph, Sr., emigrated from Ireland to PA in 1731 and was instrumental in helping to settle the Chambersburg area. He and his sons were all military men and Joseph was a first cousin to General John Armstrong of Kittaning fame. His son, Joseph, is buried in the Rocky Springs Presbyterian Cemetery, near the Letterkenny Depot. The Joseph Armstrong farm is well-marked with a roadside plaque placed by the Chambersburg Historical Society of PA, just east of Edenville on the Chambersburg-Edenville Road. We have searched for many years trying to locate his burial place, but without success. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sally Armstrong Crown
