I have seen Jacob Grow's name spelled both Groe and Groh. Jacob was born in 1792 in Franklin Co. . Catharine Leidy was named by his wife Mary Miller as being deceased in Franklin Co. in her War of 1812 Widows Pension App. but that doesn't mean she was or the spelling of the name is right. It's the only documentation I have so far on Catharine. Jacob married Mary Miller in Huntington Co. in 1819. He received 160 Acres from the War of 1812. Sound like we are close to connecting.
