Hello all, In the 1790 Pennsylvania Census is there anyway to determine a township for Franklin Co? My gggggrandfather was listed in the census but I have no way of knowing specifically where he lived. His name is Dugal McCartney and is listed on page 115, at the end of the first column. The problem being, 5 townships are listed: Fannett, Hamilton, Letterkenney, Montgomery and Peters. He may have married in Franklin County and had at least 4 of his 5 children before he moved to Huntingdon Co. in 1795. He was Scottish and Presbyterian, were there any specific communities of the later? Where could I find vital records of this early date besides church records? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated....... Thanks, Sharon
