A tentative schedule of events is as follows: Friday - genealogy seminar 9:00am - 3:30 - a variety of classes on genealogy + classes on the various families. Saturday - all day at the Old Brady Homestead (an original log homestead built abt 1745 by Hugh & Hannah Brady, a place where many of the community gathered. You may be walking on the land where your ancestors actually walked, located on the Conodoquinet Creek.) Revolutionary War re-enactors, bagpiper, lots & lots of genealogy & history, covered wagon rides, pony rides, lots of games & activities for the children, recording of family histories, individual family & group photos for posterity, sharing of heirlooms, etc. Saturday evening - dinner & re-enactments & campfire program at the Homestead. Sunday - each family is welcome to attend the Church service and hold a memorial service at their ancestor's graves. BBQ lunch back at the Homestead for all, farewells, final sharing of genealogy, etc. We would like to get info out to all the descendants of these early families.
