    3. To try to answer some of your questions - 1. Loyalists during the American Revolution were offered land in Canada after the war by the British government. I have not searched these records personally, but have talked to others that have. There was a form that they had to fill out, indicating their names, ages, loyalty to the English King, etc. The records are worth checking out if you have someone who moved from US to Canada during this time period. 2. You ask about the full dates of birth at LDS. They may have come from many sources: a Bible record, tombstones, death certificares, even a pension record or land record such as the one above. 3. Kittochtinny Historical Society does not have an email address but they do have a website - http://www.rootsweb.com/~pakhs/ . It is a link on the Franklin County site. Their mailing address is (175 East King Street, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania 17201) is available on their website. 4. The Franklin County Court House does not have email - at least not to answer requests for genealogical records. They also are a link on the Franklin County site. Check under "Franklin County Government near the bottom of the page. 5. The list of records available at the PA State Archives that I gave in a previous message are from the Archives site. I gave it at the end of the list. To repeat: http://www.state.pa.us/PA_Exec/Historical_Museum/DAM/rg/rg47m.htm 6. I don't know why the sisters are not buried with the rest of the family. Were they married? If so they are probably buried with their husband's families.
