Has anyone tried to use the new LDS pilot site for the 1900 census of Fannett Twp, Franklin County? It appears that only the northern half of the township has been transcribed (Dry Run, Sulpher Springs Election Dist, and Concord) I can not find anyone from the Spring Run area. Any thoughts on this? I've "rescued" an old photograph of Emma and Lee BEAR which was taken at the John D. Lemer Studio in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Is there a book on marriages for Chambersburg that encompasses 1900-1910? I am at a brick wall for online sources. Blessings, Janet Searching: Knave, Nave, Barnhill, Chorpenning in Cumberland and Franklin Counties, PA
These two townships used to be in Cumberland Co. but I think today would be part of Franklin. I'm looking for relatives whose ancestors settled in these townships very early (late 17th to late 18th centuries). My group migrated south to Crowders Creek on the NC SC border after the Rev. War (some came later). Benjamin Moore was an Indian trader who was murdered. My line appears to relate to him, albeit perhaps not directly. -----Original Message----- From: pafrankl-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:pafrankl-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of pafrankl-request@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, June 10, 2009 2:01 AM To: pafrankl@rootsweb.com Subject: PAFRANKL Digest, Vol 4, Issue 60 Today's Topics: 1.
