I know that some of you have been following my progress with the records of the schools I found out that the only thing that might have survived were old journals with the students names not much help to me I have a phone # for the school in Scotland PA where the records wound up that school is still active I will not post phone # but if you want it email me direct My Gr Grandfather was DR William B Rich Born abt 1805 CT He spent most of his life in Tioga Co PA and when he died my Grandmother Emma J Rich and her brother Isaac Went to the orphans school in Mansfield The DR's ancestors are my problem (brick Wall) [email protected] Thank You chuck

    3. If you look inside the front page where the copyright info is stated, you will find the ISBN identification number. Ruth can use that to search library catalogues and request an inter-library loan. Once you have that number it's easy to locate a book and the local librarian will help process the loan request. The marriage and baptism records show the name variously as Pike, McPake, etc. Later on, cousins settled into McPeak and have been that pretty steadily since. All my US McP research has been in Philadelphia (and only on a handful of families), so I don't think I'd have any information that'd help you, but if you have any Phila. connections, let me know (off list, don't want to go so off topic for a Franklin Co. list!) and I'll see what I can dig up.
