Did he check his list of blocked senders. I had this happen once before. I didn't place a sender on my list but somehow it was there. I was blocking all senders from a specific @ so all senders were not coming through. Dear Listers, The Pennsylvania Digital Bookshelf http://apps.libraries.psu.edu/digitalbookshelf/index.cfm has unending history online thanks to Penn State's efforts. A search of subjects finds a digital book, "Old Mercersburg", written by the Women's Club of Mercersburg ca. 1949. The nearly 300 page book comes up in Adobe format, and if you download the file, it is over 30 mb. The book touches on many facets of life near Mercersburg, including churches, with a one page story on "History of the Methodist Episcopal Church". You may view the file online and copy a page as needed, or download the entire file. There may be other books on this site that would help your ancestor search. Happy Reading. Rob Shinafelt ----- Original Message ----- From: Tink Miller To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, September 19, 2006 11:25 PM Subject: Re: [PAFRANKL] Methodism in Mercersburg 1807-1984 Ruth, for what it's worth - I searched Barnes and Noble website on "American Methodism" (AM) and it listed 107 items in the "used and out of print" section. Many are very low cost. But you might want to do that search at the library and see what turns up on the catalog. One book they listed is about "two centuries of AM in the Susquehanna area". Several referred to the concept of 200 years of history and focused on it's practice in various states. One of those in particular was published by American Bible Society about 1984. It didn't say if any of them list the pastors, so I don't know if that is the same book you are seeking. Hope that may be helpful to you. Hi Gordon , I recently received a request from a Maggie / Margie in Florida ? ( can't believe I forgot already ) anyway she wanted me to answer her at her email address which she provided the link to , since she was not familiar to me I answered her from the PAFrank address . Gordon you know I am not that Computer Savvy , but someone told me that if a computer has a virus and you email that person (or rather answer their link ) , you can get the virus too ? SO I'm not taking any chances . Kathy --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! Mail.

Hello Everybody: I don't understand about asking about 1 Surname ! In only 10 generations I have only 1865 individules of 561 Surnames, My brick wall , You could say is the great wall of china because back in the late 1700's a Morganthal/Morganthall had four children William,Sarah,John, and George all I can find is information on the Desendants of John , the big problem is with Sarah , I have no idea who she married ! If I could find missing information I'd probally have 7460+ Individules and 2244 different surnames ! well I guess it's My tuff LUCK ! You don't need to hear My problems !
