Hi, Would appreciate a lookup in cemetery records for a William McKIBBEN who died about 1808 in Franklin County. Thank you, Maureen Preta
Hi Maureen, I wish you luck. I have looked for his grave with no success. He died in Metal Twp. There are no records of his being buried in the Fannettsburg Presbyterian cemetery. His obit in the Franklin Co. Register Feb. 16, 1808 reads, " On the 10th. inst. Mrs Hannah McKibben wife of Mr. William McKibben of Path Valley" Mr. William McKibben of Path Valley survived his wife only eight days. Other members of the family ill ..." It would be interesting to know what disease was current at the time. William is my g.g.g grandfather. I would be happy to swap information with you. You should try looking in Fulton County , he might be buried there , I believe this might be his Family ? since the middle name was most often used , Nancy Walker could have been Nancy Elizabeth Walker Ring / Wring ? (a lead you might follow ) Name: Andrew Wring Age: 45 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1805 Birth place: Pennsylvania Gender: Male Home in 1850 (City,County,State): McConnellsburg, Fulton, Pennsylvania Others in the Household are : Elizabeth born in PA age 70 ( this would be the right age for Nancy ) Eleanor N.born in PA age 25 Agnes J. born in PA age 20 Hope this helps , I will check to see if Ron Rose has Andrew in his info , he does Fulton County and has a Tree at Ancestry ( for Fulton ) Kathy --------------------------------- Get your email and more, right on the new Yahoo.com

Hi Glenn, I have Genealogy Library , they have a huge database , I will run a search on the name and see what comes up , problem is you need a first name to start . Do you have a common name that runs from Generation to Generation , like Wm or John ? And a General Location that they would be in at any given time like PA in 1800 or MD 1700 . If I did a surname search there would be too many first names for me to search . What I usually do is search a known Ancestor then go backward and forward . Donald- I hope that this was what you were looking for. Transcribed from the Franklin Repository, published on Tuesday Evening, 16 November 1886: Death of Two Brothers. "Rev. Jacob C. Smith died at his home in York on Saturday, aged 65 years and on Sunday afternoon his brother, Mr. George C. Smith, died at the residence of his son-in-law, Simon Shetter in Marion, PA., aged 68. The former was buried today and the latter will be buried on Thursday at 10 a.m. The deceased were both brothers of the widow of Wm. McClintock, of this place who has been sorely afflicted lately, by the death of her husband, three grand children and now her brothers. The sympathy of the community is given her." Kim, You may also want to check out the spelling Querry. There are many of them in Huntingdon County. I have Hannah Rupert Hanawalt, wife of Christopher Hanawalt, as a daughter of Adam & Katherine (Foust) Rupert. Adam also had an adopted daughter Mary, child of his 2nd wife Mary Miller. There are to be about 7 other siblings. Do you have their names?
