Carolyn's message prompted me to post my family info again and see if there are any live subscribers out there who can help. Cyren(i)us BROWN, b. 1774, and wife Experience BARNSTABLE (?) (it's possible she had died by then and he remarried, maybe to Eleanor Cook?) migrated to Brokenstraw from NY ca. 1829. He was in Sugar Grove by the 1830 census. Their children were: Daniel B.-b. 15 Aug 1800 (he migrated to MI with wife Fannie PIKE and his eleven kids ca 1847). Some children were: Daniel D., Erastus P., James C. Elijah M., Loren, Cyrus, Philo M. I have no names of his daughters. Hannah Pelton-b. 18 Oct 1802; m. Joseph ARTERS and lived in Warren Co. all her life. Cyrenus Y, Cyrus F, Eliza, Rebecca, Hiram, Lemuel, Lydia and G. Washington were her children...b. Brokenstraw. Experience-b. ??? I stuck her in here because there was a gap in years until the next son was born. She could have been born just as well in the gap between 1810 and 1813. Allegedly marr. to Loren WICKWIRE (never have found him in the census) at Sugar Grove. Know nothing about her. Cyren(i)us, Jr.-b. ca 1807?; m. to Caroline _______. Migrated to MI about 1847 or so. Barnabas-b. ca 1809?; spouse, if any, unknown. To MI ca 1847? Cyrus-b. ca 1810? No knowledge of this son. Elijah-b. 02 Aug 1813 NY; m. 08 Apr 1831 to Jane E. TEAL, d/o Charles M. TEAL at Teal Hill at Sugar Grove. Jane d. ca 1848, maybe in Sugar Grove, Warren Co. PA; MI; or, less likely, OH. I believe that Cyren(i)us, Sr. died sometime in the mid 1840s (no proof whatsoever) in Sugar Grove as well as John Pember TEAL, Jane E's brother, who is recorded as having died May 1845. These deaths, I think, caused the family to disburse, migrating to OH, MI, and places I still don't know. Anyone with access to newspaper records showing deaths prior to 1845 might be able to help me out regarding these deaths (Jane Ena/ Eva BROWN, Cyren(i)us BROWN, John Pember TEAL).
