I am seeking any and all information about Loren WICKWIRE and Experience BROWN, who may have married ca. 1836-1840s, possibly in Sugar Grove or in Chautauqua Co. I know nothing about these folks, as I obtained the info of their marriage from someone who said she got it from the Warren Co. Historical Society (I didn't see it when I was there tho). It is my belief that Experience BROWN was the dau of Cyrenius and Experience (Barnstable) BROWN who lived in Brokenstraw in the 1830 census and in Sugar Grove in the 1840 census. Allegedly, Loren and Experience lived in the Sugar Grove area all their lives, but I've not had good luck with finding them in the censuses. Best I can figure out, Experience BROWN was b. in NY bet. 1816 and 1820. Her siblings were Daniel B., Hannah Pelton (m. Joseph ARTERS), Cyrenius, Jr., Barnabas, Elijah, and Cyrus BROWN. There were WICKWIREs in Warren Co., but none named Loren. I know nothing at all about the alleged Loren. Might anyone know anything about this pair? Jane thaia@goodnet.com
