Hello I found a Lorenzo BROWN buried in Bear Lake Cemetery, he shows in Census for Sugar Grove Twp. Warren Co 1840 and Columbus Twp, for 1850-60 Census in Warren Co also Does anyone have a clue where he came from? or anything about him? I am really not having one bit of luck with my own Gramma, no one living remembers her. She had no info in her obit, My father never spoke of her, But she may have had a sister Cora BROWN who married BORST then widowed married to Ola's Husband PRATT, Cora Brown BORST had several Borst children in Brocton area Chautauqua Co NY. There is some tie here I just have not been able to find. Olas Brother was Avery "SANDY" Brown born ca 1890, died gunshot, 1939, buried Sherman Valley, Chaut. Co. Married to Iva DIMICK, Iva died 1971 is buried alsoSherman Valley. they had sons Lawrence , Durwood, Leonard, and others I do not know. , and another Orlando BROWN,died ca 1957, married to Jesse EARL, died 1965 Ripley both buried Northeast ERIE Co. PA. They had sons Clifford and Clyde O. probably others. Ola Brown born ca 1892, died 1934 buried Ripley..Her marriage (Ripley NY) Cert. states she was born in Columbus Twp,Warren Co PA. sister of Avery and Orlando, she married to Frederick Richard PRATT, age 16, March 15, 1908, Ripley. Witnesses were Orlando Brown and Mrs. Elizabeth NEFF Pratt mother of the Groom, Mother of the bride was Martha ROBINSON Brown.. We are wondering if there is a connection to the Samuel Brown early settler to Chautauqua. there are 820 Samuel Brown in the Census of NY 1790-1870 there are 3 Samuels in 1830 Chautauqua 5 in 1840 5 in 1850 and 4 in 1860 Saved the Brown for last.
