Is Lorenzo a surname? We have a few of those... I've always wondered where the name came from. I know Avery is a surname, and some of the Averys settled in Rensselaer County, NY. I think all of these surnames started out in the New London area of CT, and moved elsewhere. You might look for the Avery in the books: The Groton Avery Clan - huge two volume set of Avery genealogy. > -----Original Message----- > From: Dee Davidson [mailto:jcricket@cecomet.net] > Sent: Saturday, November 20, 1999 10:47 AM > To: PAFOREST-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Lorenzo BROWN, Warren Co PA, 1840-50-60 > > > Hello > I found a Lorenzo BROWN buried in Bear Lake Cemetery, he shows in Census > for Sugar Grove Twp.
