Seems only one or two researchers seem to have my 3rdg.grandfather, William Wilson Davis, as a son of Elijah and Desire Davis. According to my G.Grandfather's S.A.R. application, dated Apr 23, 1917, he did indeed have a son William Wilson. Also, and I quote from Revolutionary Soldiers of Warren County Pennsylvania, page 27, "He had a family of six sons and three daughters." also "According to family records, Elijah Davis and his wife Desire Lyttle had the following children: Abraham, Susannah, John, Sarah, Isaac, Elijah, William, Elizabeth, James."
