S. Streeter, Phoenix publishing, Canaan, NH 1980 pg132 it mentions Samuel Kidder, Jr. marrying Zilpha Bacon of Dudley, MA , then moving to Wardsboro, VT. They had 7 children all but the first being born in Wardsboro: Esbai became a farmer of Kiantone, NY; d. 1880 Jamestown, NY Nathan or Nathaniel m1) Sophia Rice of Wardsboro; m2) Fanny Gallup of Busti, NY Lucinda Polly Samuel d. in Rahway, NJ Zilpha Jonathan Bacon d. __ Feb 1896 Huntington, PA the book further states that the girls married men from other towns and went to other towns and states with their husbands. The Vital Records of Dudley, MA to the end of year 1849, Franklin P. Rice, Worcester, MA 1908 pg 77 give this: Kidder, Ezbi bp 23 Jan 1791 C.R. [church record] son of Samuel of Wardsborough Kidder, Nathan bp. 23 Jan 1791 C.R. [church record] son of Samuel of Wardsborough pg 190 Kidder, Samuel Bacon, Zilpha m 27 Sep 1787 Samuel Jr., had a brother Nathaniel Kidder that also went from Dudley to Wardsboro to Chautauqua Co., NY. His offspring even wandered across the state line to Warren Co., PA. This Nathaniel had a dau Polly who married Abner Hazeltine.
