Here is a bit more on this family of CLOUGH a PS/ from Debbie CLOUGH Forgot to mention in my response to your other query, that Levi Smythe CLOUGH's wife's name was Dora DAVIS. She was my grandmother, although I never knew her - she died a few decades before I was born. Dora was actually Levi's fourth wife (I believe. Either 4th or 5th.) I don't know how many, if any of the previous wives lived on the farm. She was his last wife. You do have the pronunciation of the name correct - "cluff" My father would say, "Rhymes with Rough, Tough!" There are apparently soem other Cloughs in and around Warren Co. who are not related, who pronounce it "clow" - like plow. Look forward to hearing from you.
