Hi Dee: There are Clough's in Vermont. In fact there is a Clough family who is also descended from Edward Rawson. I chuckle every time I think of my cousin Shannon (Clough) Rawson saying she's not the Rawson, Ralph is! I proved that Shannon is every bit the Rawson her husband Ralph Rawson is! These Cloughs were first in NH then moved to Windham Co., VT. Yeah I'll bet somewhere along the way, they managed to wander over to Chautauqua Co., NY and then slide back and forth across the state line as those Hazeltines, Davis, Halls, Jones, Rogers, etc do! There is also a Clough Genealogy which I've looked at a time or too. However, as I wasn't looking for Cloughs in PA, but VT, didn't delve into other than the area in which I was interested in. Sorry. I also checked my Marriage and Death Notices Extracted from Warren Co., PA Newspapers (3 vols). There are no Cloughs listed.
