Hi Edward, Surely glad to see your message! The Grace E DuPree you mention was my father's first wife. She was born 28 May 1874 in Sugargrove, Warren Co, PA. Married Frank I Shannon on 15 Sep 189; Died 9 Feb 1924 in Oil City, PA. They had 6 children, only the youngest is still alive. Of interest is the fact that their first born (my half-sister) has been dead for over 100 years. I have her parents as Cyrus DUPREE, B 1831 in PA, D. 17 May 1904 in Warren Co, PA and Susan SPENCER, no other information on her. I would be anxious to exchange more data. I'm hoping to connect the DuPrees to the Mead family through David Mead's sister Ruth who married a Dupree. David Mead was the founder of Meadville, where I was raised and lived most of my life.
