    1. Fehlman, Croll/Crull, Schnell, Brecht
    2. Anderson
    3. This is my first posting and I am desperate, I have looked in all the normal places and do not find the people I am looking for. Christian Fehlman married Anna Marie Brecht - Anna Marie died and a year later Christian died. They left four children. The youngest Fred William was adopted by his grandparents. The other three are: Christian Edward Fehlman b June 10, 1862 John George Fehlman b August 3, 1863 Charles Michael Fehlman b January 1, 1868 The reason I post the names Croll/Crull, Schnell and Brecht is that I find them to be related to this Fehlman family, the obituary of Christian states the children were with relatives, the only one that has been traced is Fred William and would like to know what happened to the rest of the children. 3. Hi Edward, Surely glad to see your message! The Grace E DuPree you mention was my father's first wife. She was born 28 May 1874 in Sugargrove, Warren Co, PA. Married Frank I Shannon on 15 Sep 189; Died 9 Feb 1924 in Oil City, PA. They had 6 children, only the youngest is still alive. Of interest is the fact that their first born (my half-sister) has been dead for over 100 years. I have her parents as Cyrus DUPREE, B 1831 in PA, D. 17 May 1904 in Warren Co, PA and Susan SPENCER, no other information on her. I would be anxious to exchange more data. I'm hoping to connect the DuPrees to the Mead family through David Mead's sister Ruth who married a Dupree. David Mead was the founder of Meadville, where I was raised and lived most of my life. 1. Re: PAFOREST-D Digest V99 #22
    2. Betty, hi. The 1870 PA West Census Index has lots and lots of Wrights, but no joy for the names you're seeking. I checked for a 60-year-old Levi. By 1870, he was either "gone" or living with the kids, because he does not appear as a head of household. There are 3 Levis, ages 40, 47, and 32. No 60-ish Mariah, but a 36-year-old Maria. As for the sons, in the right age range, I find: - James, age 39, sex M, race W, born Irel, county Allegheny, locality W. Deer Twp, series M593, roll 1299, page 614 - James, age 39, sex M, race W, born NY, county Crawford, locality Randolph Twp, series M593, roll 1330, page 408 The only James I find in Warren county is: - James, age 36, sex M, race W, born PA, county Warren, locality Deerfield Twp, series M593, roll 1461, page 115 There are no Andrews in the right age (they're all in Beaver county and they're 18, 43, and 45 years old). I also checked the girls' names that you gave and didn't find any of them. You mentioned family in Corry. 1870 was boom time in Corry (that's when my Husted ancestors got there). I find these Wrights in Corry at the time: Anthony, age 34, sex M, race W, born MA, county Erie, locality 2nd Wd Corry, series M593, roll 1339, page 219 Eugene, age 43, sex M, race W, born MA, county Erie, locality 2nd Wd Corry, series M593, roll 1339, page 234 George, age 31, sex M, race W, born MA, county Erie, locality 2nd Wd Corry, series M593, roll 1339, page 208 Rosa, age 39, sex F, race B, born NY, county Erie, locality 2nd Wd Corry, series M593, roll 1339, page 227 William, age 42, sex M, race W, born NY, county Erie, locality 2nd Wd Corry, series M593, roll 1339, page 226 Sorry that I don't have better news from this. Perhaps the family had moved to Ohio by 1870? Cathy Sheffler > Could some one check the 1870 census for Warren County, Pa for a Levi > Wright wife of Mariah? <snip> > Thanks > Betty

    1. Census Lookup for Levi Wright, Warren Ct. Pa.
    2. Could some one check the 1870 census for Warren County, Pa for a Levi Wright wife of Mariah? Does anyone out there have a connection to this family? I had checked with the Warren County Historical Society last year but there doesn't seem to be any information there on this family. I believe some of this family was still living in Corry Pa. in Jan 1919 at the time of Sally/Sarah Wright Jordan's death. A notice of her death in Cleveland, Ohio was to be sent to the paper there in Corry at that time. This is all the information I have on my Levi Wright Family, information came from the 1850 census Warren Ct., Pa. Levi Wright b 1810 NY wife Mariah b 1810 Ct. Children: James Wright b 1832 Purtina Wright b 1833, Harriet Wright b 1836 b Ct Andrew Wright b 1838 b Ct Sally/Sarah Wright b 1841 Lucrita Wright b 1842 Survillas ? Wright b 1846 May be (Survillias) Survilla ? Wright b 1846 (twins not sure of spelling) may be (Survillia) Lillia Wright b 1848 Thanks Betty
