    3. Re. the "Intent to Naturalize" application forms from the 1890's - are they in the county courthouse? Especially to Dennis: I have sent you two e-mails, but they are returned from someone with a different e-mail address entirely! Did you actually get TWO documents from the courthouse? I have only the form saying that he had been approved in 1899 and am still trying to locate the actual application forms 9from 1896). Perhaps they did not exist that early in time, before 1906. 3. Would anyone have information on DAVID G. MCCRAY born in Warren Co. PA 27 Aug. 1833? His father was JAMES MCCRAY. He moved to WI in 1855. I am searching for the names of his brothers and sisters, also his mom. I have been trying to find OLIVER PERRY MCCRAY and thought that this could be a brother since OLIVER was born in PA and he was on the same WI census as DAVID was. Any help is greatly appreciated. 3. The immigrant got the only copy of the naturalization certificate...no copies were kept at the courthouse. But the application of intent should have a little information, and you should see about getting a copy from the courthouse. My husband's grandfather was naturalized in Warren Co. in 1911 and it even gave the name of the ship he came over on (from Denmark) and his date of arrival, and his birthplace, including city and county. Good luck. 3. There is an LDS file for Pierce Cobb and Tarzah KNAPP, it states she was born 2 Oct 1794 Broome Center, Schoharie Co, NY, dau of Comfort KNAPP, and Tarzah Gilette, This states she DIED in Buffalo NY, 25 Apr 1858, she was very old to marry then, several children are listed. All born Schoharie If they were in Warren County PA they may be conected to the East Branch group that settled there, and also at Cobbs Corners. The cemetery has gone into the swamp and the Church that had records is fallen down, but a woman who bought the property has dug up some of the records, I am quite near Warren Co, and if you find where the Thompson Hill Cemetery is located, I will do my best. 3. I was wondering if someone could possibly do an obit lookup for me. While doing some research in the Ludlow cemetary (McKean Co) last week, my father and I came across two boys buried in the family plot that no one has ever given us information about. We are surmising they are his mother's brothers. We did not have time to do any research but now that I am back in NY, I really want to know more about them. They are: Henry A. Anderson, b-Oct.2 1888 and d-Feb. 18, 1889 and Herbert L Anderson b-Nov. 17, 1892 and d-May 28, 1898. These dates are what we thought were on the gravestone. It was very difficult to see. Any help would be appreciated. Gina Chesnes (researching Anderson, Turner, Grimm, Cappelletty, and Wholers in Ludlow, Warren and Starbrick, PA) chesnes@linkscom.com -
