    3. Does anyone know the history of the naming of Emerson Hill or Emerson Hill Road in Warren County? I believe it is in the Green Valley area. I have recently learned that my gr-gr-grandfather's brother, Charles Emerson, lived in the area and I'm curious to know if there's any connection between the two. Many thanks... 3. Hello all Well it seems the search engine is broken again for the rootsweb search for Chautauqua Co information so you will have to do it the old fashioned way , The url for the Red Bird Cemetery is here http://www.rootsweb.com/~nychauta/CEMETERY/Redbird.html Red Bird is in the town of Ellery and in Sinclairville, at Red Bird Corners, route 380, it's an old cemetery and there are lots of old familiar names. I grew up here but never had a clue about the people who came first I am learning fast. The url for Veterans buried there is here; http://www.rootsweb.com/~nychauta/CEMETERY/Redb_cem.htm There are several new additions to the cemetery listings so you may want to check them all; http://www.rootsweb.com/~nychauta/CEMETERY/TOWN_CEM.HTM, And a PS here I posted for information on the old farm in Spring Creek Warren Co. PA that was part of the CLOUGH family estate, well I found the last daughter to be born on this farm, I have helped her to find her family and you may like to know it's the LEVI CLOUGH that was right here in Chautauqua Co. 1820 Federal Census The Town of Pomfret, NY Levi Clough. ( sounds like Cluff) The forever curious Dee
