According to old newspaper articles that I found Alpheus Wilson was shot and killed by his son Frank in a fit of anger. The article (in the Indiana Weekly Messenger) only states that the dispatch came from Uniontown but does not state in which township the murder took place. I have not been able to determine if this is the correct Alpheus Wilson. I know that my gg grand father did have a son Frank, among others. His wife was Delilah. I have them on the 1870 census (listed as Alfred) living in South Union township and prior to that in Georges. I can't find them on the 1880 census as of yet, but I have found that Alpheus has passed away by 1890. The 1890 Veterans Schedule shows Delilah as a widow. Any help would be greatly appreciated......Kathy
