Just found information that Joseph Townsend d. March 27, 1936, not 1934. Joseph was the son of Elizabeth (McCann) Townsend. Source: The Daily Courier, Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Saturday March 28, 1936. Joseph Townsend, 85, died Friday afternoon at his home in Nicholson township, near Masontown. There are four children. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Note: Joseph was the father of 5 children, one dying as an infant.
