In 1958 The Christ Episcopal Church put out a booklet Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the dedication of the present church building 1858 - 1958 and the 199th Anniversary of the first Episcopal service held here. 1759 - 1958 October 12, 1958 - The Rev. Canon Edwin F. Shumaker, B.D., M.A., Rector. A bit of history of the church was given on 14 pages & the entire booklet, including a list of burials in the church comprised 30 pages in all.
