Still searching especially for anyone who knows or has a DOWLING and a PARKS in their tree. My Great Grandmother's name was Anna Eliza DOWLING/PHILLIPS - born 1846 (we believe in Virginia). Her father (no given name) was DOWLING and her mother was Sarah PARKS. Also from Virginia. Anna Eliza was married to Elijah PHILLIPS in the late 1870's they were living in Carnegie, Elijah died 1897 and is buried in Chartiers Cemetery as is Anna Eliza. The MORROWS might be related somehow or could just be friends, however in 1860 census Anna E.DOWLING was at the home of Alex and Ellenor MORROW, North Fayette. Any information welcome, I know that there are Dowling in Mifflin, I talked to someone whose husband was a Dowling. She told me that the Dowlings had a feud in Virginia and the family split and moved. She was supposed to get back to me but never did. Hope this doesn't still stand as I would like to continue on with my Great Grandmothers family. Alice California
