In the Horn Papers, volume 3, it has the patent maps for Fayette County. It has listed a John McCullough with a patent dated Feb. 25, 1784. It is located in part of Brownsville. In fact, my understanding, he sold part of it to Thomas Brown who started Brownsville. Any one having any knowledge of this John McCullough. There was another John McCullough that settled near the Zollarsville area in southern part of Washington County. Of course, John was probably a favorite name and used quite often. There was a Samuel McCullough listed next farm over from John. is there any relation of the families mentioned. Any help on these family would be appreciated. Thanks, larkin
