All people in Fayette County who are descended from the Tarr family who founded the small town of Tarrs in Westmoreland County are invited to a family reunion. Christian Tarr was a US Congressman from Fayette County in the early 1800's. The Tarr family reunion is on Sunday June 25, 2006, at the Hunker Fire Hall and picnic grove at Hunker, PA, in Westmoreland County. We set up a potluck dinner from noon to 1 PM with the meal beginning at 1. Coffee and cold drinks are provided.
