Karen, WMBS is the Uniontown AM radio station, and they have, for as long as I can remember, read the obituaries every day. Marc ----- Original Message ----- From: <khorne@adelphia.net> To: <PAFAYETT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, June 25, 2006 12:40 AM Subject: [PAFAY] - Question about Obit
Hello Karen, Here's a bit more about WMBS. The "W" means it is east of the Mississippi; MBS are the initials of the owner's wife. F2. The radio station, WMBS, of Uniontown, which Simon owned was named for her (initials, MBS) res: Perryopolis, PA cem: Mt.
