William R. (Bill) LANCASTER, 53, of Dunbar, Pa., died Saturday in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born. Aug. 25, 1928 in Dunbar, a son of the late Peter and Margaret MILLER LANCASTER. He was a self-employed excavating contractor. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the U.S. Army. He attended Dunbar Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 66. He is survived by a son, Peter, of Dunbar; a daughter, Iris, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two brothers, Earl, of Dunbar, and Edward, of Dunbar Township, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Swope Lancaster, in 1984. Was probably published in a Fayette County newspaper.
