    3. George WATONA, 81, of Carmichaels died Sunday, April 10, 1994, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He was born Nov. 22, 1912, in Ronco, Pa., son of the late George Vatunya and Anna Kostura Vatunya. He was a retired UMWA coal miner from Nemacolin Mine, A U.S. Army veteran of World War II who served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, and a member of American Legion Post 945 and UMWA Local 6290. He is survived by his wife, Eustina Pecjak Watona; two children, Frances Watona of South Hills, Pittsburgh, Pa., and George W. Watona of Burke, Va.; and two sisters Julia Watona of Carmichaels and Mary Lagojda of Masontown. He was preceded in death by brother and sisters, Mike, Anna, and Sophia Watona. Friends will be received in the PAUL MICHAEL LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 205 Dowlin Ave., Carmichaels, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Private services will be held Wednesday, April 13, followed by interment in St. Mary's Orthodox Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
