Andrew R. LOPTOSKY, 81, of Alverton, R.D. 3, died Saturday at Frick Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant. He was born Sept. 26, 1907 at Czechoslovakia, a son of the late Thomas and Mary Hanzes Loptosky. He was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church of Scottdale. He was a retired coal miner with 30 years service with Maxwell Mines of Brownsville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. Surviving are a brother, Joseph Loptosky, and a sister, Louise Loptosky, both of Alverton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Rose Fleming on April 30, 1978, and two brothers, John Loptosky on Jan. 30, 1981, and Frank R. Loptosky on Jan 25, 1985. (10/1/1988) Not related to me.
