Stricken two days ago, James P. SMITH, 81, a retired Baltimore and Ohio railroad engineer and one of Fayette County's oldest Democratic workers, died Friday morning in his home at 1115 Sycamore Avenue, Connellsville. Mr. Smith was forced to his bed last Wednesday. His death was attributed to complications. He leaves his widow and three daughters. No arrangements have been made for the services. Not related to me.
