Mary M. Volchko, 86, formerly of Crucible, Pa., died Tuesday, January 13, 2004, in Cranberry Place. She was born October 27, 1917, in Braznell, Pa., a daughter of the late Steve and Catherine BOKO KUCHAK. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway, Pa., and the CFU Lodge No. 307, Brownsville, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 1990; a brother, Steve KUCHAK; and a sister Mildred Laktash. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Warren Guthrie, of Economy, Pa.; three grandchildren: Todd Guthrie, of Woodburn, Ore., Lori Eisenbrown, of Medina, Ohio and Douglas Guthrie, of Glenwood City, Wisc.; six great-grandchildren: Jarod, Kayla and Alexa Eisenbrown, and Patrick, Maddalene and Blaine Guthrie; a brother and sister-in-law, Ivan and Anne Kuchak, of Brownsville, Pa.; a brother-in-law, Ted Volchko and his wife Sara, of Brentwood, Pa.; two sisters-in-law: Helen Kuchak, of Wickliffe, Ohio and Christine Volchko, of Butler, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, Pa., from where a service will be conducted on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
