Flora Katherine Smith SNYDER, 84, of 413A South Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, died Sunday, Jan. 4 at Frick Community Health Center in Mount Pleasant. She was born Feb. 5, 1902 in Humbert, pa., a daughter of the late Alexander and Katherine Swift Johnson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Connellsville. She was a former employee of Goodwin Dry Cleaners, and also performed private duty nursing for several years. She is survived by two sons, Harry E. Smith of Clearwater, Fla. and Clifton E. Smith of Louisville, Oh.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Clyde Gilmore Smith; her second husband, Dennis E. Snyder; two sons, Charles Smith and Clyde G. Smith; five brothers, Frank, Harry, George, Lester, and Calvin Johnson; four sisters, Sadie Hyatt, Nora Belle Schomer, Esther Leeper Cruthers and Gail McGovern Stull.
