Erma King, 81, of Delmont, Pa., formerly of Monongahela, Pa., and Connellsville, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at her home. She was born Aug. 31, 1922, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late William and Clara R. BARNHART HERMAN. Mrs. King was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1940. She had resided in Monongahela since 1947, before moving to Delmont in 1999. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Monongahela. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur KING, whom she married in 1943; two sons, Wilbur KING, Jr. and his wife, Edna, of Champion, Pa., and Terry KING and his wife, Rosemary, of Belle Vernon, Pa.; a daughter, Karen DeAngelis and her companion, John McClarren, of Greensburg, Pa.; two grandchildren, Brian and Kristen Ann KING; three sisters, Gertrude Collins, of Greensburg, Alvirda Cavanaugh and her husband, Gene, of Connellsville and Betty Jane Rowan and her husband, Howard, of Cypress, Calif.; and four brothers, Albert HERMAN and his wife, Betty, Robert HERMAN and his wife, Frances and Daniel HERMAN and his wife, Barbara, all of Connellsville, and Clarence HERMAN and his wife, Mary, of Mount Pleasant, R.D.2, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Lee KING. Funeral services and interment were private and held at the convenience of the family.
