Ronald Joseph KOZAK, 51, a former resident of Brownfield, Pa., Patrol Officer on the Cleveland Police Department for 12 years, Veteran of the United States Army who was a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne and served at Fort Benning, Georgia, and also in Germany, and was born in Continental Two, Fayette County, Pa., to Joseph Augustine KOZAK and Anna Delores SAFLARSKY Kozak, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 in Charleston, South Carolina. He is survived by his Godparents, his uncle, Andrew TAJC, and his aunt, Mary SAFLARSKY Kotlarsic; Paternal Grandparents, Andrew Joseph KOZAK and Mary Tekely Kozak ,who live on a 22-acre farm near Continental Two, Pa.; Maternal Grandparents, Joseph SAFLARSKY and Antonia BOBAK Saflarsky, of Shady Grove, North Union Township, Fayette County, Pa.; Brother, Ted KOZAK, of Louisville, Kentucky; Sister, Fredde KOZAK Greene, of Green Valley, Arizona; Brother, Vincent KOZAK, of Spokane, Washington; Sister, Rebecca KOZAK, of Alameda, California; Nephews and Niece: Dr. Richard KOZAK, of Mission Viejo, California, Suzanne KZAK and her three children, Marie, Paul and Joel, all from Necedah, Wisconsin, and Ted KOZAK, of West Covina, California and his daughter Viktoria; Aunts and Uncles: Betty Saflarsky Jaynes and her husband Lester Jaynes, of Dunbar, Pa., Anna KOZAK Kunc, of Cleveland, Ohio, Andrew KOZAK, of Carmel, California, Steve KOZAK, of Redding, California, Helen KOZAK Ferrando, of Otsego, Michigan, and Gerry KOZAK Massey, of Long Beach, California; and many Kozak and Tajc cousins who live in Uniontown, Pa., and Cleveland, Ohio. Private graveside service will be held in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa., which had been the baseball field where Ronald played left field as a child. Unrelated to me.
