Friends and former pupils of Miss Carrie Ross, aged 55, of Washington, Pa., will learn with sincere regret of her death which occurred Monday morning at the family home after a lingering illness. She taught for more than 25 years in the Masontown schools where she was known and loved by children and adults alike. She started her teaching career in Masontown and continued there until last February when she was forced to give up her school because of her failing health.
