Wayne R. KERN, 71, of Sedona, Ariz., died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, in Cottonwood, Ariz. He was born in Uniontown, Pa. He retied and moved to Sedona, Ariz., after 30 years of employment with the U.S. Air Lines in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was a lifelong member of the Yavapai Harley Davidson Motorbike Club. Preceding him in death were his mother, Elizabeth Kern of Uniontown, Pa. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn SEEHOFFER Kern, of Sedona, Ariz., and their son, Mark KERN, of York, S.C. Also surviving from a pervious marriage are his children, David KERN and his wife, Danette and Cindy Kaylor and fiancee, Allan BROOKS, all of Uniontown, and Deborah Kern-Metts and husband, Spencer, of Smithfield, Pa. Wayne was also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
