Ray W. SEESE, 94, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born May 17, 1909, at Gibbon Glade, Pa., son of the late John W. and Zobedia THOMAS SEESE. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen FIKE Seese; a son, Ray SEESE, Jr.; and three brothers and three sisters, Jeremiah, Avery, Jonas, Mary, Bertha and Mildred. Surviving are four children, Wendell D. SEESE and wife, Roberta, of Gibbon Glade, Janet SEESE, of Uniontown, Ron SEESE and wife, Phyllis, of Redford, Mich., and Roger SEESE and wife, Monica, of Uniontown; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Jeanne Seese, of Monaca, Pa. Ray was a member of Canaan Church of the Brethren, and had been employed during his life with PennDOT and Holzapfel Lumber Company. Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday until 11 a.m., the hour of the service, with the Rev. A. Harrison Smith officiating.
