    3. Margaret J. "Marge" Szopo, 77, of Vestaburg, Pa. died at 3:35 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2004, in her home with her family at her side. She was born June 10, 1926, in Palmer, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Anne YAVORSKY YURICK. For several years, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa. Mrs. Szopo was a member of the St. Michael Archangel Church of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, Pa., and was serving as Acting President of the Ladies of Charity, and a member of the Ladies Guild of the Church. She was a member and Past President of the Christian Mothers of the church, choir member, folk singer, participated with homebound visits, served as a Eucharistic Minister, prepared and delivered food baskets to the needy, and taught CCD Classes for 15 years. On July 15, 1960, in Winchester, Va., she married Lewis T. SZOPO, who died March 10, 1988. Surviving is one son: George MUNK and his wife, Clarice, of Vestaburg, Pa.; two daughters: Mrs. Todd (Valerie) Nyswaner, of Clarksville, Pa, and Mrs. Kenton (Tammy) Edwards, of Scott Depot, W.Va.; four grandchildren: Nick Munk, Jessica Seymour, Christopher MUNK, and Amy Edwards; six great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Wilhelm, Otto, Katie, and Kelly; two sisters: Sr. Christine YURICK, of the Vincentian Sisters of Charity of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Helen Nardis, of Jefferson, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is a son, Nicholas MUNK, who died April 26, 1989; three brothers: Michael, John, and George YURICK; two sisters: Anna Dolansky and Katie YURICK, who died in infancy. Her first husband, George MUNK, is also deceased. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2004, and from 12 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank St. at Crawford Road Fredericktown, Pa., where a Prayer Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2004, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., in the St. Michael Archangel Church of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, with Msgr. William Charnoki and the Rev. Paul J. Grunebach as celebrants. Interment will follow in the Greene County Memorial Park Cemetery, Waynesburg, Pa. The Christian Mothers of the Church will recite a Rosary at 3 p.m., Sunday, in the funeral home.
