John Howard BROOKS, 72, of Connellsville, Pa., died Monday, January 12, 2004, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served as a Military Police officer with the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement, John worked as a construction worker for both Garlick & Shallenberger Construction Companies. He is survived by his lifelong soulmate, Nancy ALBERT Miller, of Connellsville; two daughters, Roxanne Hatter and husband Kenny and Wanda Burkholder and husband Mark, both of Connellsville; a brother, Glenn BROOKS and wife Karen, of Connellsville; a sister, Lillian Doppelheuer, of Kentucky; and two stepsons, Ed and Tom Osborne. Friends will be received today from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N.
