William J. LYNCH, 59, of New Paris RD 1, formerly of 200 Loucks Ave., Scottdale, died Monday, Jan. 5 in Presbyterian Eye and Ear Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born in Scottdale on August 9, 1927, the son of Quinn and Evelyn Breegle Lynch of Scottdale. He was employed for the past 43 years with United States Steel Irvin Works. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served with the Pennsylvania National Guard in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Scottdale VFW Post. He was predeceased by his first wife, Gloria Dawn Robbins Lynch on Dec. 19, 1978. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Carole Kerfoot Lynch, four daughters, Mrs. Sandi Walters of Scottdale, Mrs. Theodore (Dawn) Hay of Connellsville, Mrs. William (Shawn) Ansell of Scottdale, and Mrs. Walter (Tawnee) Calhoun of Scottdale; six grandchildren; a sister, Betty Lynch of Scottdale; two brothers, Vernon Lynch of Scottdale, and Earl Lynch of Alverton. 1/5/1987 Scottdale (SALOOM) Not related to me.
