Raymond M. KISSELL, 73, of Acme, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg, Pa. He was born Sept. 23, 1930, in Weltytown, Pa., a son of the late Joseph and Christine PUSKAR KISSELL. Ray was retired from Local #3 Iron Workers of America, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Local #57, Maryland. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Diane KISSELL; a brother, John; and a sister, Josephine KISSELL. Ray is survived by his wife of 48 years, Hallie CRAIG Kissell; three sons, William, of East Carnegie, Joseph, of Hidden Valley, and Michael, of Greensburg; a daughter, Lori Hudec and her friend, Patrick Monroe, of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; his five grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Jalesha, Jayson and Aleasha; five sisters, Elizabeth Zamiskie, Mary Helen Forish, Catherine Myers, Pauline Shafer and Julie Zeltner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ray made the courageous decision to donate his body for use in scientific research in the hope of helping future generations. On Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. friends and relatives are invited to join his family at a memorial Mass to be celebrated by Father Donald J. Mondello at St. Raymond of the Mountains Church, Donegal, Pa. A reception will follow to celebrate his life in the church social hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Clelian Heights School for Exceptional Children, R.D.9, Greensburg, Pa., or the St. Raymond Paving Project, School House Lane, Donegal, Pa.
