Douglas Joseph Francken, 52, of Ramsay Court, Mount Pleasant, died Saturday in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born March 12, 1934, in Green Bay, Wis., a son of the late Gary and Catherine Jansen Francken. He was a member of Transfiguration RC Church of Mount Pleasant. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of VFW Post 3368 and American Legion Post 446, both of Mount Pleasant. He was also a member of Mount Pleasant Firemen's Club. He was an employee of Powerex Company of Youngwood as an expeditor. Surviving are his wife, Irene Theresa Rudzinski Francken; one son, Dr. Gregory Francken of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Carrie) Fiore of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Robert (Connie) Cope of Mount Pleasant; one granddaughter, and two sisters, Mrs. William (Patricia) Wouters of Green Bay, Wis., and Mrs. William (Lynn) Vanlaanan of Fish Creek, Wis.
