    3. I happened on this item which had been in the Elizabeth Herald Newspaper, July 15, 1887. - not my names - enjoy ....Capt. R. M. Boyd and Benj. Coursin were at Brownsville Wednesday arranging for repairs to the Elizabeth. she will have to be docked to repair injuries sustained on the 4th of July trip. We understand that they also asked for bids for the construction of her proposed successor. ....The docks are now all idle, and will remian so until there comes enough water to let the boats in from below. Then there will be plenty of work for all of them. The last establishment to quit was that of Walton & Co., which ran out of work this week. These docks have made a remarkable record. They have had continous work since February of last year except ten days at about this time last year, caused by low water, as at present. email: ellen@b-n-s.com Visit my web site: http://www.geocities.com/ellenj3
